Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari warns that Iran will crush regional infrastructure if the administration follows through on threats to target Iranian power plants and bridges.

Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari, a spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, warned that Iran will retaliate with "superior" force if the administration carries out its threats to strike the Islamic Republic's infrastructure. The administration announced that U.S. forces would target key Iranian power plants and bridges next week unless a diplomatic breakthrough is achieved. The conflict has intensified over six consecutive days of back-and-forth strikes. While the U.S. military has hit command centers and air defense systems near Tehran, Iran has launched ballistic missiles and drones at U.S. bases in Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz remains an "inviolable red line" for Tehran. To increase pressure, Iran has asked its Houthi allies in Yemen to prepare to close the Red Sea shipping route if the U.S. strikes Iranian energy facilities. Despite the escalating rhetoric, analysts suggest the conflict may reach a stalemate unless a serious ground threat compels the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to accept a formal surrender.
