President Trump will attend the dignified transfer of 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan and Pvt. Isabella Gonzales at Dover Air Force Base on Tuesday evening. The two service members were killed during Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks on a U.S. base in Jordan. The administration announced that the military is currently investigating the incidents, which have left a third soldier missing in action. The conflict with Iran has resulted in 17 total U.S. service member deaths to date. In a recent post, President Trump directed military leaders to ensure Iran pays for the death of each soldier "many times over." Meanwhile, the administration continues to exert pressure on Iran to prevent the development of nuclear weapons. As the war escalates, the administration has conducted nine straight nights of strikes to diminish Iran's ability to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. These ongoing hostilities have contributed to a rise in national gas prices, which reached an average of $4 a gallon on Monday.
