During a rally in Sao Paulo, Javier Milei referred to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva as a "thief" and a "convict" while supporting the presidential campaign of Flávio Bolsonaro. Brazilian diplomats stated that the Argentine leader insulted the country's government, people, and democracy. In response, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva stated he would continue to lead without outside interference, noting that Brazil does not accept others sticking their noses where they do not belong. The move follows a tension-filled campaign period. Javier Milei also criticized Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes, calling him "bald trash."
