Judge Orders Jury to Tour Lindsay Clancy's Duxbury Home During Murder Trial
Judge William Sullivan has ordered the jury in the murder trial of Lindsay Clancy to tour the home where she allegedly killed her three children in 2023. While the current owners of the property did not want the jury inside, the judge ruled that the jury must be allowed access to the exterior, basement, and first and second floors to view the scene of the alleged killings. Lindsay Clancy, a former labor and delivery nurse, faces three counts of murder for the strangulation deaths of her children, Cora, Dawson, and Callan. The prosecution argues that she methodically planned the murders, while the defense contends she lacked criminal responsibility due to postpartum psychosis. Her ex-husband, Patrick Clancy, testified that while Lindsay Clancy's mental health declined significantly between 2022 and 2023, she appeared happy on the day of the deaths. The trial is expected to last up to six weeks, with the jury evaluating whether the mother's mental state was a deliberate choice or a result of her psychiatric condition.
