One suspect was arrested and police are searching for a second individual following a shooting at the annual Bite of Seattle food festival. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Sunday, resulting in three deaths and four injuries. Faith Adia Hunter and other festivalgoers fled for cover as gunfire erupted, with many seeking refuge in the nearby Seattle Children's Museum. Roberto Ramirez, a vendor at the event, initially mistook the shots for fireworks before the crowd began to flee. Estan Wakonabo described a crowd surge as people scrambled to safety, causing baby strollers to topple. Assistant Seattle Police Chief Tyrone Davis stated that investigators do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public. All four survivors, including a 2-year-old boy, were hospitalized in stable condition. Police provided security at the festival, and officers evacuated the grounds to search for the remaining suspect.
