Max Miller Insists on Reelection Bid Despite Domestic Abuse Allegations from Ex-Wife Emily Moreno
Republican Representative Max Miller has committed to staying in his reelection race for a third term in Ohio despite significant domestic abuse allegations from his ex-wife, Emily Moreno. While Moreno has accused Miller of multiple instances of physical and verbal altercations, including an incident where he allegedly threw her against a wall and held a gun to her head, Miller has strenuously denied the claims. He argues that his ex-wife is reporting destructive allegations with little evidence and has filed a defamation suit against her to clear his name. The controversy has also drawn criticism from Miller's former father-in-law, Senator Bernie Moreno, who stated that Miller is a "danger" to his daughter and should not serve in Congress. Conversely, Miller maintains that he still holds joint custody of their daughter and that the court has not found him to be under any apparent infirmity. President Trump said he would look at the abuse allegations as Miller prepares to face Democratic candidate Brian Poindexter in the November midterm elections.
