Jordan's military reported that it foiled an Iranian attempt to target the kingdom with five missiles, resulting in no casualties. Meanwhile, the US partnered with Saudi Arabia to strike Iran-backed militias in Iraq, killing at least 20 fighters and other Iranian advisers. In Lebanon, the Israeli military accused Iran-backed Hezbollah of violating a truce by firing a drone at an Israeli vehicle. Despite the escalating attacks around the Gulf, oil prices saw a slight decline, with Brent futures falling to $89.78 a barrel and West Texas Intermediate crude falling to $83.82 a barrel.
