The two men were the only babies born at the facility on January 26 of that year. The revelation came two years ago when Kyle Bylin received an at-home DNA test as a gift, which revealed he had no genetic match to the family that raised him. The DNA results pointed to a biological aunt, leading to the discovery that Jeremy Morrison was the biological son of the family that raised Bylin, and vice versa. While the families are seeking a jury trial for negligence and emotional distress, Unity Medical Center has denied responsibility for the mix-up. The hospital stated that it no longer possesses the medical records from 1988 and found no evidence that staff were at fault. Despite the legal battle, both men expressed that they remain grateful for the families who raised them.
