Two-year-old Aryana Trevino Martinez found dead in San Antonio creek after being reported missing.
A two-year-old girl, Aryana Trevino Martinez, was found unresponsive and pronounced dead in a water-filled creek area in San Antonio. She was last seen at approximately 7:45 p.m. on Sunday in the 4000 block of Allegheny Drive. The Texas Department of Public Safety issued an AMBER Alert for the toddler, who was eventually located by her neighbor, Uriel Ramirez, near the Belle Ellen road in the Dreamhill Estates neighborhood. San Antonio Police Department investigators noted that Aryana Trevino Martinez was captured on surveillance video walking alone in an alley before her death. While the cause of death remains under investigation, first responders conducted CPR on the child before she was rushed to a hospital. The AMBER Alert was canceled by 3 a.m. Monday. A community vigil is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, at 4902 Belle Ellen Drive to honor the child and support her family.
