Jensen Huang and President Lee Jae Myung met in San Francisco to solidify a comprehensive partnership between NVIDIA and the SK Group. The agreement, valued at over $500 billion, aims to secure a stable supply of high-bandwidth memory (HBM) for NVIDIA’s advanced processors. The deal includes the construction of large-scale data centers and the deployment of NVIDIA Vera Rubin infrastructure powered by SK Hynix memory. The administration of the partnership also includes significant investments in South Korean tech giants. NVIDIA will invest $1 billion into the cloud company Naver to build a 200-megawatt AI factory. Additionally, Hyundai Motor Group will develop a physical AI strategy using 50,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs. President Lee Jae Myung framed the collaboration as a move to make South Korea a global hub for AI innovation. Jensen Huang credited Korean memory technology as the foundation for modern AI supercomputers. The summit also established joint research labs with the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and Seoul National University to advance agentic AI and physical AI research.
