Courtney Clenney Reaches Plea Agreement in Second-Degree Murder Case Following Fatal Stabbing of Boyfriend
Courtney Clenney has reached a plea agreement in the second-degree murder case involving the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend, Christian Obumseli. The 30-year-old OnlyFans model and influencer was accused of killing Obumseli on April 3, 2022, at their luxury condo in Edgewater, Florida. While Clenney's defense team argued she acted in self-defense during a tumultuous and combative relationship, prosecutors maintained that Obumseli was unarmed and the stabbing was not a defensive move. Clenney has remained in custody since August 2022. The specific terms of the plea deal are not yet final until they are formally accepted by the court during a hearing scheduled for August 10, 2026. Attorneys for the Obumseli family expressed that the resolution will begin their healing process. The case featured evidence of a volatile relationship, including surveillance footage and audio recordings of the couple's frequent arguments.
