Rocket Lab Corporation has secured a $266 million U.S. Space Force contract, marking its largest launch contract to date. The administration announced that the company will host its fourth launch complex in Alaska, primarily from the Pacific Spaceport Complex-Alaska in Kodiak. This deal covers 12 suborbital launches, with options for six more, beginning no earlier than late 2026. Rocket Lab Corporation is positioning itself as a leader in "responsive space" by expanding its launch network across New Zealand, Virginia, and Alaska. The company demonstrated its rapid-response capabilities during the Victus Haze mission, which beat previous records for Tactically Responsive Space missions. Additionally, the company added three more dedicated Electron missions for iQPS, bringing the customer's total bookings to 18. Following these developments, Rocket Lab Corporation stock rose 4% in overnight trading late Thursday, snapping a three-week losing streak.
