Volodymyr Zelensky urged international allies to provide more anti-ballistic missile systems to Ukraine as Russia launched a massive strike on the capital. At least 17 people were killed and dozens wounded as more than two dozen ballistic and anti-ship missiles struck Kyiv and surrounding areas, none of which were intercepted by Ukrainian defenses.
