Volodymyr Zelenskyy reports one of the largest ballistic missile attacks on Kyiv since the start of the full-scale invasion.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia launched one of the most massive ballistic missile strikes against Ukraine since the 2022 invasion began. The overnight barrage, which primarily targeted the capital, included 41 missiles and 125 drones. While Ukrainian air defenses intercepted 108 drones and 18 missiles, the remaining strikes caused significant damage to residential and industrial sites in Kyiv, leaving at least one person dead and 16 others injured in the city. The Russian Defense Ministry noted that the strikes targeted key defense industry facilities and logistics centers. To counter these attacks, President Trump said he is prepared to grant Ukraine licenses to produce Patriot interceptor missiles, which are the most effective means of neutralizing Russian ballistics. Meanwhile, Ukraine continues to strike Russian energy infrastructure, including three oil depots in the Stavropol region and several tankers in the Black Sea. These moves aim to disrupt the fuel supplies that finance the Russian war effort.
