Volodymyr Zelenskyy reports at least six people killed in Russian ballistic missile attack on Kyiv region.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that a Russian ballistic missile attack on the Kyiv region killed at least six people and injured dozens more on Friday. The strike occurred at a training ground hosting a military exhibition where representatives from the Ukrainian defense industry were present. While the Ukrainian air force spokesman Yuri Ihnat noted that only one of the three missiles was intercepted, the attack caused significant damage to the area. Simultaneously, Ukraine launched successful strikes deep into Russian territory. A Ukrainian attack on an oil and military facility in the Kirov region killed six people and wounded 26 others. Additionally, Ukrainian drones targeted the warehouses of Wildberries, Russia’s largest online retailer, in St. Petersburg, causing massive fires and disrupting logistics. Zelenskyy also reported meeting with a delegation from Raytheon to discuss the joint production of Patriot interceptors. The administration recently moved toward a more positive tone regarding Ukraine, with President Trump pledging to license the country to produce its own Patriot systems.
