Irvine police are seeking the identity of a man who spray-painted 13 Tesla vehicles in a single week.

The Irvine Police Department is seeking the public's help to identify a man who vandalized 13 Tesla vehicles in separate incidents at a local plaza. Surveillance footage shows the suspect, a man in his 20s or 30s with a possible tattoo above his right elbow, using red spray paint to mark the cars with terms such as "Nazi" and "Fascist." The vandalism occurred in two primary sessions within the same area. During the first incident, the suspect marked four vehicles in a parking garage near Michelson Drive and Carlson Avenue. He returned less than a week later to a different garage in the same plaza to spray-paint nine additional Teslas. Irvine Police Officer Ziggy Azarcon noted that while the suspect wore different shirts in various clips, he consistently wore the same shoes. The department has increased patrols in the area and urged residents to park in well-lit, populated spaces. The suspect is believed to be targeting the vehicles due to a personal grievance with Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
