Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate are arrested in Miami as British authorities seek extradition on 59 total charges of rape and sex trafficking.

The U.S. Marshals Service arrested influencer brothers Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate in Miami on Saturday following an extradition request from the United Kingdom. The brothers, who are dual British and U.S. citizens, face a total of 59 charges stemming from alleged crimes committed between 2010 and 2017. These include rape, human trafficking, and offenses relating to indecent images of a child. The administration announced that the arrests were made pursuant to extradition proceedings and in accordance with established law enforcement agreements. While British prosecutors are seeking to bring the brothers back to face trial, their legal team, led by Joseph McBride, maintains that the brothers are innocent. McBride characterized the new charges as "filth and slander" intended to disrupt ongoing defamation lawsuits in the United States. The brothers, who are vocal supporters of President Trump, previously lived in Romania where they faced separate criminal investigations. They arrived in Florida in early 2025 and are expected to appear in a Miami federal court next week.
