Shukur Aikebaer was shot to death and kidnapped by his business partner Zhengfeng Bo during a kidnapping-murder case in Chino Hills. The 60-year-old victim was found in the trunk of a Nissan Altima after Zhengfeng Bo opened the trunk and fired upon him. The incident occurred on Wednesday night after Aikebaer exited his home to inspect an electrical panel, a move investigators believe may have been a ruse to lure him outside. San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to reports of shots fired and a person yelling for help. Following a short pursuit, deputies pulled over the vehicle and discovered Aikebaer inside the trunk. Both Shukur Aikebaer and Zhengfeng Bo were pronounced dead at the scene. Business records show both men were involved in several LLCs together. Zhengfeng Bo's attorney stated that while Aikebaer was not a major party in current lawsuits, he served as a middleman for Bo in a20 million apartment complex dispute.
