Terrell J. Granberg Died Following a Multi-Victim Shooting in Portland's Cully Neighborhood
Terrell J. Granberg, an 18-year-old man from Portland, was killed in a shooting early Sunday morning in the Cully neighborhood. The incident occurred at approximately 3:33 a.m. on August 2, 2026, at a home on the 5800 block of Northeast Alberta Street. Police responded to the scene after a noise complaint regarding a large gathering of over 100 people. While many attendees were cooperative and left the property, a shooting broke out, leaving six people injured. Two victims were rushed to the hospital by ambulance, while four others arrived via private vehicles. Despite lifesaving efforts, Granberg was confirmed dead by the Medical Examiner as having died of homicide by gunshot wound. The other five victims, including a 15-year-old boy, are expected to survive. Investigators have recovered over 75 shell casings and 145 pieces of evidence. The Portland Police Bureau is currently seeking suspects and urging witnesses to submit tips via email.
