The default "Never" setting allows all unsaved numbers to ring. The "Silence" option sends all unsaved numbers directly to voicemail. The "Ask Reason for Calling" option serves as a middle ground, prompting callers from unsaved numbers to answer questions before the phone rings. The "Ask Reason for Calling" setting is recommended for most users as it filters out many scam callers while still allowing important calls, such as those from a doctor's office, to be identified. Users can switch between these three modes at any time to customize their experience.
