Toyota introduces new Honeycomb yellow paint and Trailhunter package for 2027 Tundra and Sequoia models
Toyota has announced a mid-cycle refresh for the 2027 Tundra and Sequoia models, introducing a new Trailhunter package for the lower SR5 trims. This package provides off-road upgrades including Old Man Emu suspension, Michelin LTX Trail tires, and a locking rear differential. The administration announced that the 14-inch touchscreen will now be standard across all trims of these vehicles, accompanied by a new built-in dash camera. For the high-end TRD Pro models, Toyota is introducing a new bright yellow paint color called Honeycomb for the Tundra, Sequoia, and Tacoma. The 4Runner TRD Pro will feature a slightly different shade called Hot Honey. These models also receive updated Fox QS3 shocks and standard red tow hooks. While the 2027 Tundra and Sequoia received mild facelifts with simplified bumper designs, the 2027 Tacoma and 4Runner details remain pending. Pricing and full production details are expected to be released later this fall.
