Trump Media & Technology Group will launch a real-time data feed for institutional customers to track market-moving posts from President Donald Trump.

Trump Media & Technology Group announced on Thursday that it will launch a new Application Programming Interface (API) on August 1. This service will provide paying institutional customers, such as Wall Street firms and hedge funds, with licensed, real-time access to posts from President Donald Trump and other top accounts. The administration has increasingly used Truth Social as a primary outlet for official communications, including policy decisions on tariffs and naval blockades. Because the president’s posts frequently influence markets, the new API aims to monetize the platform's proprietary assets by delivering data in milliseconds. This allows algorithmic traders to execute trades faster than they could by manually scanning the feed. While the move provides a high-margin revenue stream for the company, some critics argue it creates a conflict of interest. Because the president’s family is the largest shareholder in the company, the administration is essentially funneling public information through a private channel in which the president holds a significant personal stake.
