The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense officially approved the Cyclop drone interceptor system for deployment within the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has officially codified and approved the Cyclop drone interceptor system for deployment within the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This domestically developed system, produced by the company F-Drones, features high maneuverability and can reach speeds of up to 350 km/h. The system is designed to intercept high-speed Shahed drones at high altitudes while also providing coverage to protect regional capital cities from incoming aerial attacks. The Cyclop system has already demonstrated success on the front lines, notably becoming the first drone to intercept a Russian Shahed loitering munition over the Kursk region. By producing its own software, electronics, and engines, the system reduces dependence on imported components. This technological advancement contributes to Ukraine's emergence as a drone superpower, with the country aiming to produce up to ten million drones annually. These innovations allow Ukraine to maintain a technological advantage over Russia, forcing the Kremlin to adapt to a new era of drone-dominated warfare.
