Ukrainian forces demonstrated a new military capability involving the delivery of an unmanned ground vehicle across a body of water into disputed territory. According to reports citing the 123rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, the operation utilized a sea drone to transport a combat robot, which subsequently fired upon a target. Colonel Oleh Makukha, commander of the 123rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, and Major Denys Hipik, commander of the 1st Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade, oversaw the mission.
