Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirms Ukrainian long-range drone strikes hit two major Wildberries logistics warehouses in Russia's Moscow and Tambov regions.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukrainian long-range strikes hit two major logistics facilities belonging to the Russian online retailer Wildberries in the Moscow and Tambov regions. The strikes, which are the most lethal Ukrainian operations inside Russia in over two years, targeted warehouses used to supply sanctioned components for drone production and navigation equipment. Russian officials reported that the attacks resulted in at least eight deaths and 62 injuries. Seven workers were killed at the Kotovsk warehouse in the Tambov region, while one person died at the Elektrostal facility near Moscow. The Tambov regional governor, Yevgeny Pervyshov, described the strike as the "largest and most inhumane" in the region due to the high number of drones used. The administration of the Russian marketplace Wildberries reported losses exceeding RUB 100 billion (US$1.3 billion) from the fires. Zelenskyy stated the strikes were a direct response to Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure. Additionally, Ukrainian forces struck an oil facility and several vessels in the Black and Azov seas.
