Vitaly Korolyov reports damage to Wildberries warehouse in Tver region following Ukrainian drone strike
Vitaly Korolyov, the acting regional governor, confirmed that a Ukrainian drone strike damaged a warehouse operated by the Russian online retailer Wildberries in the Tver region. No workers were injured during the incident, though emergency services were deployed to the scene. This attack follows a series of strikes on Russian warehouses, as Kyiv aims to target the nation's economy. In a broader context, the Russian defense ministry announced that forces brought down or destroyed 320 Ukrainian drones over 19 different regions overnight. These strikes resulted in several casualties, with six people killed and nine injured across various warehouse facilities near Moscow and St Petersburg. Additionally, the Russian foreign ministry accused Ukraine of resorting to terrorism, citing a deliberate drone attack on the civilian population in the Gelendzhik resort area. The attack allegedly killed seven people, including three children, and injured 40 others. While Ukraine has not issued a formal statement, its military has repeatedly stated it does not deliberately target civilians.
