Robert Brovdi, commander of the Ukrainian forces for unmanned systems, reports that Ukrainian forces have intensified attacks on the peninsula to isolate Russian military logistics. Over the past month, 196 Russian ships and more than 100 energy facilities have been hit by Ukrainian drones. These strikes target the M14 highway and various energy hubs, causing significant disruptions to electricity, water, and internet services for the civilian population. Russian authorities have declared a state of emergency in parts of Crimea, including Sevastopol, as fuel shortages and power cuts have led to rising food prices and a lack of perishable goods. While the Kerch Bridge remains a primary corridor for people to escape the peninsula, it was recently closed temporarily due to drone activity. To mitigate the impact, the occupation administration has set a maximum markup of 5% for essential goods. Ukrainian experts suggest that this blockade strategy aims to pressure the Russian military machine and potentially compel Moscow to negotiate a ceasefire.
