Eric Trump reported that the Qatar-donated Boeing jet, which served as a temporary Air Force One, may no longer be destined for the presidential library in Miami. While President Trump initially planned to house the aircraft at the library, the administration announced that a final decision has not yet been made regarding its placement. The $400 million aircraft, owned by the Department of Defense, was gifted by Qatar to the U.S. government. Although the gift sparked some bipartisan criticism, the administration accepted the security upgrades and upgrades to the aircraft to prepare it for presidential use. President Trump briefly used the jet in July to attend a NATO summit, but returned to the older Air Force One model due to security concerns.
