President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukrainian drones struck a Wildberries warehouse in Russia's Vladimir region on Monday, marking the third attack in two weeks on the country's largest online market. The strike targeted a key supply chain for Russian military drone components and navigation equipment. Vladimir region governor Alexander Avdeyev reported that two people were injured in the attack, while the Wildberries press service confirmed a fire broke out at the facility. Wildberries is a critical component of Russia's wartime economy, with an annual turnover of €70–75 billion. The e-commerce giant, founded by Tatiana Kim, has been targeted by international sanctions since the start of the full-scale invasion. While Kim stated her business is not legally required to oversee compensation for losses caused by Ukrainian strikes, the Russian government is exploring state backing through VTB bank to support the platform and its thousands of sellers. Small business owners have expressed concern that without significant relief, many could face closure.
