The administration announced the appointment of Serhiy Koretskyi as the new prime minister, following the resignation of Yulia Svyrydenko. Koretskyi, who previously led the state energy giant Naftogaz, was selected to address the critical need for energy resilience as Russia continues to target Ukraine's power infrastructure. The reshuffle also includes the dismissal of Defense Minister Mikhailo Fedorov, a move that has drawn some pushback from lawmakers and sparked mass demonstrations. To fill the vacancy, Zelenskyy appointed Yevhenii Khmara as acting Minister of Defence. Additionally, Vsevolod Chentsov was named deputy prime minister for European integration to accelerate Ukraine's EU accession.
