West Omaha Ticket Wins $50,000 in Local Nebraska Powerball Drawing

A resident of West Omaha may have won a $50,000 prize after the Nebraska Powerball drawing on Monday. The winning ticket was sold at Anderson Convenience Market 140, located near 140th and West Center Road. The ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball number. The winning combination for the drawing was 5, 25, 36, 40, and 48, with the Powerball being 3. Although the grand jackpot was not won, the holder of the local ticket can claim their substantial winnings. Because the prize amount exceeds $20,000, the winner must make arrangements to claim the money at the Nebraska Lottery headquarters in Lincoln. Lottery officials note that the ticket holder has 180 days from the drawing date to secure the payout. Residents who purchased tickets at the Anderson Convenience Market 140 are advised to check their numbers against the winning set of numbers.
