Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirms Russian ballistic missiles killed 10 people during a defense industry event near Kyiv.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that a Russian ballistic missile strike in the Kyiv region killed 10 people and injured nearly 100 at a defense industry exhibition. Zelenskyy stated that holding such a large public event near residential buildings was "unacceptable" under current wartime conditions. The strike occurred while representatives from Ukraine's defense industry were present, including Defense Ministry adviser Serhiy Beskrestnov and technology developer Lyuba Shypovych, both of whom survived the attack. The administration is currently working on a drone production agreement with Ukraine, which Zelenskyy described as a "win-win" deal. This follows a meeting with Raytheon representatives to discuss joint production of Patriot interceptors. Additionally, Zelenskyy met with US influencer Laura Loomer, who recently shifted toward a more critical view of Russian President Vladimir Putin. While Russia continues to pressure Ukraine, Kyiv has launched retaliatory drone strikes on Russia's largest online retailer, Wildberries. These strikes have targeted warehouses across Russia, including near St. Petersburg, disrupting logistics and impacting small businesses.
